This is our new introductory course to living in the wild!
We meet up on Friday lunchtime at the wood, where we will set up camp and enjoy a cuppa and a bannock. Then it’s off for a forage before an afternoon of outdoor cooking and food preparation. We’ll have a decent evening meal and utilize a whole array of outdoor cooking techniques before we bed down for the night.
In the morning we’ll rise early, enjoy a spot of wild tea or coffee and a decent breakfast before we part.
What you’ll experience:
Camping in a charming little woodland.
Camp fire cook-alongs
Some interesting wild foods
What you’ll learn:
To identify some edible plants
To identify and use the native trees
To light, build, and manage a camp fire
