Rosehip Forage & Syrup with Kingstanding Food Community

Spend a day with us starting from the Kingstanding Food Community Cafe (Kingstanding Wellbing Centre). We will start the day foraging for rosehips in the local area and then returning to the cafe to turn them into Rosehip Syrup.

Christmas Wreath Making with Kingstanding Food Community

Spend an afternoon with us at the Kingstanding Food Community Cafe (Kingstanding Wellbing Centre) and have some fun making xmas wreaths out of willow.  Course Leaders Alan Bale and Stephanie Adelaar will take you through the process of  making a wreath using willow which we then have fun decorating with natural materials.

Knife Sharpening Workshop

Make your knives LAST! Never deal with a blunt and useless kitchen knife or bushcraft knife ever again and save yourself some £££!

This workshop is run by bushcrafter Alan Bale and top chef Chris Williams.  You will learn how to sharpen knives from very blunt to razor sharp, and how to maintain an edge.
The course is two hours long.  Equipment is provided, but please feel free to bring your own, as this will make it easier for you to go home and work on your own.
Most people successfully hone their knife in the two hour session, and gain valuable knowledge on the way to becoming really proficient.
